Can I vote for you if you are not in my district?

Yes, you can vote for me.  In DeSoto all of the citizens can vote collectively on any open City Council position regardless of the district that they live in and also the Mayor position is the same way.

What are the important voting dates?

May 8, 2025 – Last day to register to vote

May 27, 2025 – First day of early voting

June 2, 2025 - poll is open 7am-7pm

June 3, 2025 – Last Day of Early Voting by Personal Appearance  (7am-7pm)

June 7, 2025 – Election Day (7am-7pm)

June 7, 2025 – Last day to receive Ballot by Mail

Where do I go to vote?

You may vote at any Dallas County vote center during Early Voting and on Election Day.  Visit https://www.dallascountyvotes.org for a full list of locations.

DeSoto, Disciple Central Community Church (DC3) is the only voting location open for early voting.

• DeSoto High School – Dyer Gym 3 Foyer, 600 Eagle Dr.

• Woodridge Elementary School - Media Room, 1001 Woodridge Dr.

• Katherine Johnson Technology Magnet Academy - 1200 Academy Way
