I ASK FOR YOUR VOTE

To all of the citizens of DeSoto, I attended a seminar many years ago well before social media and there is one thing that the presenter said that has always stuck with me.  He said “If you are trying to sell a product, service, idea or even yourself.  No one cares about how much you know until they know how much you care”. 

Ever since I moved to DeSoto over 20 years ago, I have given back to the community in whatever ways that I can.  I never did it for the accolades.  I did it because I care.  I let my witness be my actions.  And when the people are ready to bestow the accolades then that means the most to me.    

Out of honor and respect for you the citizen of DeSoto, I would never ask to represent you without being in the trenches with you first.

So after 20+ years of service and giving back to my community, I now respectfully ask for your vote.  It will be my honor to represent you and continue to serve you in this larger capacity.
